Unearthed

The sun streams
bright
and you hope 
the mystery of who 
YOU ARE
will be illuminated, understood                
dark
corners 
lifted to light
Secrets softened, truths
unearthed like treasures
old photographs
familiar 
haunting
necessary to the mystery:
who you are
why you are here
daughter of the goddess Herself
holy child
